Hi. We're scheduled to check out on Oct 1 but now that I've thought about the date, I wonder if there will be any celebrations in MK or elsewhere to signify the anniversary? If so, I might want to extend to partake in the events. Or, do you think it will be too crowded and better off not going to the parks?

I'm not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere, if it has, sorry.

Nothing has been announced. Don't expect any kind of celebration. Maybe a brief mention. Of course, buy all the 40th merchandise you want. Just don't expect a year long celebration or even a 1 day party.
