Snow White Adventure Gone?

On another post I saw someone mention that snow white's scary adventure will be gone soon? Is it being moved to the new princess areas in fantasyland? If it is gone has there been any word on what will replace it?

Last I had seen on the forums here (about a week or two ago) Snow White's Scary Adventure is still there. However it is going to be replaced with a Princess Meet-and-Greet and they are building a new Snow White themed ride that is gonna be based on the 7 dwarves diamond mine in the new expansion area. I'm hoping that this will still be open when I go down in Nov. so I can ride it with my eldest niece one last time before it's gone for good. :mickey:

They haven't announced their official timeline for the closure plans of the ride, but eventually they will close it for the meet-n-greet. Hopefully they keep it open until most of new fantasyland is open which will probably be early 2013.

Is the Dwarves ride supposed to be a roller coaster? If so, will it be an adult ride or a roller coaster similar to Goofy's Barnstormer?

The ride is a rollercoaster per se, but it's going to be on thrill level between the Barnstormer and Thunder Mountain. Very much a family ride...
