Great! Thank you. We are going in September with DD8 and I think she will love it. She is not a princess kind of girl - more of a Tom Swayer and Swiss Family type.

Yes, it's there, and it's always a must-do for our DDs 8 and 6. :mickey:

Have fun!

We were on a loop last May - had to cut the 3 year old off after 4 trips!

I find it interesting that the children love it even though it is not even a ride. Last October it was packed with people so we did not get to go through and my wife was not up to the steps. But the next trip will include a walk through for sure. After all these years, that attraction still packs them in.

I have never stopped to do the tree. Whats the draw? May have to check it out this time around. Need something new.

I remember being very intrigued by the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse as a kid. Your DD may be interested in learning about how the Imagineers built the tree and created the leaves too.

I haven't done the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House since I was a kid. After reading this thread I think I may have to do it again this Fall.

The SF Tree House is always a must do for me, it started the first time I went through as a kid. My kids now love going through every time we go.

I think the draw, especially for kids, is you can imagine yourself staying/living in the tree house (at least that is what it was for me) It looks like the ultimate tree house with the coolest ammenities.

I wasn't that eager to walk the steps, I have to admit! My son really wanted to go and I am VERY glad I gave in. The attention to detail is amazing and looking for hidden Mickey's adds to fun. Also, try to listen to the people around you. Many times I almost missed something until I heard someone point it out.

Where can I find more information about how the imagineers made the tree?

I have been there once when it was dark out. I couldn't see much so it was boring...oh, and I had terrible allergies! I'm sure it's great during the day when you can actually see it, but I don't recommend it if you have allergies.

I'm surprised its never been updated to Tarzan like at Hong Kong Disneyland. Not many kids remember Swiss Family Robinson these days, but I still love that movie.

Not long before our trip, I purchased the movie. The kids loved it. Maybe that added to why it was near the top on my sons list of things to do!:mickey:

I do the treehouse at least once every trip. The film was one of my favourites when I was a kid, so much so that after my last trip I went and bought it on DVD and have watched it at least 10 times since I bought it.
