Fast Pass EMH Question

I know this has been discussed before but I couldn't remember when... if we are in the parks in the morning for EMH are we able to get a fast pass during that hour for non-EMH attractions? For example.... at 8am can I get a fastpass for Splash Mountain even though it doesn't open until 9am?

No, because that area of the park will not be open until 9 am. They'll have a special rope drop into that section of the park, and CMs walk in front of you until you reach Splash & Big Thunder. Sorry!
