Great beach read

I just read "The Huntchback of Neiman Marcus" by Sonya Sones. If you are pushing 50, having any issue with empty nest or menopause and care for an elderly parent, you'll love it. She is an interesting writer as that the book is a series of poems. I did not think I would like this, but it was wonderful. Dr. Suess for the adult.

Just started this afternoon The Inner Circle by Brad Meltzer. Love reading "fiction" about the crime and corruption of the Washington DC elite. I'm also going to start a series of 4 books my son just finished by Cassandra Claire: City of Bones, City of Glass, City of Ash, and the newest book City of Fallen Angels. Another mother I work with is reading them with her daughter and has loved them. Think I'm going to be busy this summer.

I just finished 'Two Kisses for Maddy' by Matt Logelin. He has a great blog, and the book was even better. It's not a read for when you are out in public though, his story is way too heartbreaking. I would highly recommend it though!
