Apr. 26, 1989 – The Disney Channel aired the 3rd episode of MMC “Anything Can Happen Day!” starring Bill Nye.
Apr. 26, 1990 – The “Mickey’s Magical TV World” show opened in Mickey’s Starland in the Magic Kingdom at WDW. (Closed Mar. 11, 1996)
Apr. 26, 1991 – Disney’s TV series “Dinosaurs” began airing on ABC. (Ended July 20, 1994)
Apr. 26, 1991 – The Disney/Touchstone film “Oscar” was released.
Apr. 26, 1994 – The Disney/Hollywood Pictures film “Camp Nowhere” was released.
Apr. 26, 1994 – The Original Broadway Cast Recording of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” was released. The CD included Susan Egan as Belle, Terrence Mann as Beast, Burke Moses as Gaston, Gary Beach as Lumiere and Beth Fowler as Mrs. Potts.
Apr. 26, 1998 – The Wonderful World of Disney aired “Disney Animal Kingdom: The First Adventure.” The one-hour TV special gave viewers a first look at the new Florida theme park.
Apr. 26, 2001 – Disney Online was awared “Best of Festival”, Best of Category”, and “Creative Excellence Award”, at the International Web Page Award ceremonies.
Apr. 26, 2002 – The Lizzie McGuire episode “And the Winner Is” aired on the Disney Channel.
Apr. 26, 2002 – The Disney/Touchstone Picture film “Frank McKlusky, C.I.” was released.
