Our first day of arrival is a tad on the late side (for my younger boys), but I was wondering if I am able to enter MK for an ADR without using a day off my park admission?

I had a friend who did it in EPCOT, but I was wondering how (or if) this really works

:ditto: Park Admission is required to enter the park for an ADR.

No shirt, no shoes, no ticket, no entry...

It is a bummer, but yes, unfortunately you need park admission. I've often thought about visiting WDW for just a resort stay, but then realized how much I would miss park dining.

Epcot had a special evening dining thing at one time; I don't know if they do that anymore.

Your advance dining reservations will not get you into the park. You'll need to use a day on your tickets to get in.

if you're on a package, i think you can add a day at the park for just a few dollars more, you might check into that.

.....if you have over 6 days on a package deal you can get an additional day for mere pennies !!! We have added on a day several times and it was EXTREMELY cheap !!!

We have added on a day several times and it was EXTREMELY cheap !!!:cool:It has nothing to do with having a resort package. You could be staying at the Holiday Inn and buy your tickets from an authorized non-Disney source and still add days to your tickets just like everyone else.

If you have a 3-day ticket, adding a 4th day costs only $8. If you have a 4-day through 9-day ticket, adding a 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and/or 10th day costs only $5 per additional day. If you have a 10-day ticket you can't add any days to it.

Additions/upgrades can be done at any time during your trip (even after the ticket has been all used up), and do not cost any more than if you'd bought the bigger ticket to begin with.
