Apr. 11, 1997 – The Disney film “Grosse Pointe Blank” was released.
Apr. 11, 1997 – For the first time in its history, the Disney Legends were inducted at a ceremony at Disneyland Paris.
Apr. 11, 2000 – The Disney comedy series “Talk to Me,” and lasted for only three episodes aired on ABC-TV. (Ended Apr. 25, 2000)
Apr. 11, 2003 – The Disneyland Resort unveiled 2 new attractions: “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh”, and “Playhouse Disney – Live on Stage”.
Apr. 11, 2003 – The “That’s So Raven” episode “Dissin’ Cousins” aired on the Disney Channel.
Apr. 11, 2003 – The Disney/Walden Media film “Ghosts of the Abyss” was released.
Apr. 11, 2004 – The Disney 1-hour TV special “Nick & Jessica Variety Hour” aired on ABC-TV.
Apr. 11, 2006 – Hiltrud Blumel, a 49-year-old German woman, died of a stroke after riding Mission: Space in Epcot at WDW.
Apr. 11, 2006 – Winnie the Pooh celebrated his 80th birthday by receiving the 2,308th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Ca.
Apr. 11, 2006 – Walt Disney Home Entertainment released “Pooh’s Grand Adventure-The Search for Christopher Robin,” on DVD.
