Apr. 7, 1985 – Disney’s 1st Annual “Walt Disney World Happy Easter Parade” hosted by Rick Dees and Joan Lunden, aired on ABC.
Apr. 7, 1990 – The “Cage” Nightclub opened in Pleasure Island at WDW.
Apr. 7, 1995 – Disney’s Documentary Feature film “Frank and Ollie” premiered at the Cleveland Film Festival.
Apr. 7, 1995 – The Disney film “A Goofy Movie”, which featured the voices of Bill Farmer (as Goofy), Jim Cummings, Jo Anne Worley, and Joey Lawrence.
Apr. 7, 1995 – The “Diamond Horseshoe Revue” attraction returned to Frontierland replacing “Diamond Horseshoe Jamboree” in the Magic Kingdom at WDW. (Closed Feb. 1, 2003 and would be replaced with “Goofy’s Country Dancin’ Jamboree”)
Apr. 7, 1995 – Walt Disney’s sister Ruth (the youngest of the family) passed away.
Apr. 7, 1996 – “Walt Disney World’s Happy Easter Parade,” hosted by Regis Philben and Joan Lunden, aired on TV.
Apr. 7, 2001 – Disney’s House of Mouse aired the episode “Pluto Saves the Day,” and “Thanks to Minnie.”
Apr. 7, 2001 – The “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire – Play It!” attraction opened in Disney-MGM Studios at WDW.
Apr. 7, 2002 – The Disney Vacation Club 10th Anniversary Cruise set sail.
