Hello fellow intercotters, long time reader, seldom poster, but curious about something. I thought I read that Toontown was permanently closed ? Going down in May with a 5, 4, and 3 year old. They'd love the place, shame if its all gone. Your input is greatly appreciated.
Thank You!

It's been closed for the past month or so, with most of the buildings already gone. There are only a couple tents, the coaster, and the railroad station remaining. It won't re-open for another year or so at the earliest as part of new Fantasyland.

yes it's closed. Even as a 47 year old, i always thought it was cool. as an architect, i really appreciated how it was put together. it's not easy building, desigining something w/ no 90 degree angles.

Yeah, kinda stinks, but change is inevitable. I actually think the thing I'll miss the most is leaning over the railing in mickey's house to try and watch the tv and have the alarm go off. Anyone know if they are planning to take it down at Disneyland as well?
