Another Wishes Dessert Party question....

I noticed that they suggest you arrive about an hour before the fireworks start. Does this mean you miss out on the evening parade, or can you see it from the Terrace?

We did the Dessert Party in December and while you can't see the characters along the parade route from the terrace, you can see the large floats. The night we went, Wishes was at 8pm and they gave us a reservation for 7:20pm. Very glad we arrived a little early because by the time the fireworks were about to start, the desserts were pretty much gone. We loved attending this event and wish we could do it again in May. Everything was delicious!

No matter what time they give you, you need to arrive at least an hour before time. The line starts forming well before that.

When we went back in February, we started heading over to the Terrace well in advance and was still way back in line.

You have reserved seats, but if you don't get in when they open it up, the desserts start going fast. They do not refill the bar with the most popular items.
