I'm Going To DISNEY WORLD!!!

I haven't been on the boards since taking my last trip in December 2010, because after taking our annual December trip this past December, I returned home to the heartbreaking news that we could not afford any trips in 2011, and we would not be able to return till December 2012 :( So I had to avoid the message boards and vacation planning sites because the pain was too much :sob:

Well, in the last few weeks I managed to talk my way into moving the trip up till June 2012 for my birthday.

But about an hour ago I just received the best news that any Disney fan could get! I was looking at the prices for the DCL in June 2012 and found out if we move it up till January 2012 we would save $2,400! Well as the say "Money Talks" So I was just given the go ahead to start planning on trip to WDW & on our 2nd DCL for January 2012!!

We are only 10 months and counting!! :cloud9: I am soooooo excited, :trio: I feel like I just won the lottery! After I booked the DCL and which made the trip "official", I actually shouted "I'm going to DISNEY WORLD!!" :joy: LOL! I can hardly contain myself. And the best part is my family is happy as well! They are usually the tough ones who don't get excited about Disney till 3 months before the trip.

I just had to come on here and share my excitement with people who would understand! :balloon:

Thanks! I know! The planning & counting down is half of the fun for me, I have almost as much fun planning the trip, as I have actually being on the trip. I am glad I have a date to countdown to! :joy:

im in that boat though..last time we were there was Sept 2009..and wont be back until March 2012..since our daughter then will be a little over 2 years old..:mickey:

:tink: I agree the planning is half the fun! I know how you feel, it is so exciting! We can't go in 2011either, so we are hoping for May 2012 and it's making me sad to wait so long! However we are still doing lots of planning, about where we want to stay, what we want to do and where we want to eat, but it's just not official until you book it and then the real fun begins! Thanks everyone! I still can't believe I am booked for a trip in 10 months! Especially because it looked like we wouldn't be going until no sooner than June 2012. Which would have been a year and a half for me since the last trip, which doesn't seem long, but we have been doing yearly trips for the last several years. So thinking you'll have to wait a whole year and a half - 2 years is beyond heartbreaking.

Yes, I do tend to get a bit passionate about Disney :blush: It's the only time when I feel truly happy, so knowing I have a date to countdown to that is relatively soon, will definitely help tide me over till I can get to my favorite place on earth :cloud9:

That's fantastic news. I'd love to do the Disney cruise again. I'll have to wait and see what 2012 brings. At least I have my time share in March to look forward to.
