Mar. 26, 1958 – At the 13th Academy Awards, Disney’s live action short “The Wetback Hound”, won an Oscar.
Mar. 26, 1961 – The Walt Disney Presents TV series aired “Man in Flight II.”
Mar. 26, 1967 – The Disney TV show “Man on Wheels” was released.
Mar. 26, 1972 – Disney’s 2-part TV movie “Michael O’Hare the Fourth” aired. (Part-2 aired Apr. 2, 1972)
Mar. 26, 1976 – Disney re-released “Dumbo” in theaters for the 5th and final time.
Mar. 26, 1985 – Actress Keira Knightley, known for her role of Elizabeth Swann in both Disney features “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl,” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” was born in Middlesex, England.
Mar. 26, 1989 – Disney’s 2-hour animated movie “Super Duck Tales” aired.
Mar. 26, 1990 – From Disney’s “The Little Mermaid”, the song “Under the Sea” won an Oscar for Best Song at the 62nd Annual Academy Awards.
Mar. 26, 1993 – The Disney/Hollywood Pictures film “Born Yesterday” was released.
Mar. 26, 1994 – The “Food Rocks” attraction opened in the Land Pavilion in Epcot at WDW. (Replaced Kitchen Kabaret.) (Closed Jan. 3, 2004)
