Mar. 21, 1962 – Comedian/TV host Rosie O’Donnell, the voice of Terk in Disney’s “Tarzan” was born in Commack, N.Y.
Mar. 21, 1968 – The Disney film “The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band” was released.
Mar. 21, 1969 – The Disney film “Smith!” was released.
Mar. 21, 1975 – Disneyland’s “Mission to Mars” opened in Tomorrowland replacing “Flight to the Moon”. (Closed Nov. 2,1992)
Mar. 21, 1975 – The Disney film “Escape to Witch Mountain” was released.
Mar. 21, 1985 – Disney’s hour-long TV adventure series “Wildside” began airing on ABC. (Ended Apr. 25, 1985)(Consisted of 6 episodes))
Mar. 21, 1986 – Disney’s Foreign Theatrical release of “The Wuzzles: Birds of a Feather” took place.
Mar. 21, 1994 – TIME Magazine ran an article about Disney’s plans for a $650 million American-history-and-entertainment park, called Disney America.
