Mar. 17, 1960 – Actress Vicki Lewis (the voice of Deb/Flo in “Finding Nemo”) was born in Cincinnati, Oh.
Mar. 17, 1963 – The Walt Disney’s Wonderful World of Color aired part-1 of “Kidnapped.” (Part-2 aired Mar. 24, 1963)
Mar. 17, 1963 – The 2-part Disney film “Banner in the Sky” aired its part 1 episode called “To Conquer the Mountain.”
Mar. 17, 1963 – Actress, singer and dancer Lise Simms, known to Disney Channel fans as Barbara Diffy on the series “Phil of The Future,” was born in Colorado. She was also a member of the original Los Angeles, Ca. cast of “Beauty and the Beast.”
Mar. 17, 1968 – Louis Armstrong and his 7-piece band recorded the final 3 songs for his upcoming LP “Disney Songs the Satchmo Way” in a Hollywood Studio. Today’s session included “Chim Chim Cheree,” “Heigh Ho,” and “Whistle While You Work.”
