I know there are lots of "what is your favorite ------" posts, so here is another one:

What is your favorite place anywhere at WDW to relax: whether it's sitting, talking, enjoying a drink/snack, people watching, etc.?

EPCOT World Showcase - Get a snack or an adult beverage at one of the locations and watch the "world" go bye.

Ah, as a cast member I would take a seat anywhere at the beginning of Main Street and watch the people walk in....
Watching the people's reactions-young and old-always made me tear up....
It reminds you how truly magical that place is :)

I love the big squarish couches on the lower level of The Contemporary Resort. It is my favorite place to rest after a big meal at California Grill to make a cell phone call...contacting loved ones on the outside. After a big meal with all that wine, I need to rest for just a few minutes.

The deck chairs/hammocks at CBR are great at sunset.

Another vote for the TTA here as well. Nice and breezy. A great way to relax in the park when it's full around mid-day.

Anywhere in Disney is relaxing since I'm away from the "real world"... but I do have a few spots that I just love sitting at and relaxing-

The rocking chairs right outside of BTMR in the evenings overlooking the water toward HM...so relaxing!!

World Showcase...sitting outside of France having a crepe by the water.

DTD...sitting outside with a Ghiradelli's sundae!

Here's another vote for the rockers on Aunt Polly's Porch on Tom Sawyer Island. DW and I can usually sit there for as long as we like while our boys roam the Island. In spite of being in the middle of the MK, it's a nice spot to chill.

I love spending a good portion of the day "drinking around the world" at Epcot. We take our time at a leisurely pace, sit down, relax, and enjoy all each country has to offer. As a matter of fact on our most recent trip, one of the best experiences was taking shelter under under a table with an umbrella in Italy during a light rain shower while sipping some
We had a great conversation and got to people watch at the same time:thumbsup:

I love this too! My first stop in several of the countries is to get a beverage, then to soak up the atmosphere of the country that I'm in.

I also love to snag a ride on the TTA and watch Mk from the platform over tomorrowland.

My hubby and I like to go to the sitting area near the castle thru the rose garden. It's the veranda with the green top. We love to stop by the ice cream shoppe and get two cones and sit and watch the ducks float by. Because it's downhill, people usually miss it and we have it all to ourselves. We had a particularly frightening experience with the queen of hearts in that garden the last time tho...It's intimidating to see her stomping towards you. Needless to say, we'll be watching our backs from now on :).

do the poolside resort bars count?

If so that's mine! There's nothing better than chatting it up with strangers and the bartenders after a fun day at the parks. It's always fun to meet people there.

If not, I like Tokyo Dining by the windows. I can people watch, get a great meal, and just relax and enjoy the place.

Three, actually. Outside the PLaza Ice Cream at one of the little tables enjoying my fave butter pecan ice cream while watching the most incredible people go by (some we even knew)
And @ Epcot in the UK, in the back garden, on a little park bench, kicked back with cold one and enjoying the sounds of The British Invasion (soon to be the British Airwaves).
And on our balcony @ the WL, overlooking the pool, the Trout Pass Bar and Bay Lake.

At the resort (SOG) - Anywhere, early in the morning with my daughter, as we enjoy a coffee and orange juice. We always get up before everyone else.

Magic Kingdom - if it's cool, the tables outside Casey's. If it's hot, gotta go with the Hall of Presidents - as has been said, you can't help but close your eyes for a second...or three.

DHS - A big comfy chair at The Writer's Stop coffee shop next to Sci Fi Dine In, with a drink and muffin or bagel.

AK - A bench just outside the Rainforest Cafe shop.

Epcot - An outside table at the Rose & Crown with a pint.

DTD - A table at either the Tonsil Tickler or Hole in the Wall Pubs with - you guessed it - a libation.

This is an easy one for me.

There is a bench outside the Rose and Crown. It is within reaching distance of the kiosk that sells black-n-tans.

I have spent many very happy moments sitting on that bench....

Have a couple of favorite "relaxing" places:

The boat ride from Port Orleans to Downtown Disney.
The boat ride back and forth from Wilderness Lodge to Magic Kingdom.
The monorail ride to Epcot.

But, my most relaxing location is the little table area behind the Flame Tree Barbeque. I love to take a pork shoulder sandwich, walk down near the water, and just soak in the atmosphere. It's a great place to relax.

Upstairs at Columbia Harbor House.

Still, to this day, on the most crowded of days, you still can have your own room up there.
