Mar. 15, 1987 – The “Pickett Suite Resort” Hotel opened in Lake Buena Vista at WDW. (Name changed to Guest Quarters Suite Resort.
Mar. 15, 1987 – Disney’s 2-hour TV movie “Young Harry Houdini” aired.
Mar. 15, 1991 – The musical show “Plane Crazy” opened in Videopolis at Disneyland. (Ended Oct. 31, 1991)
Mar. 15, 1991 – Disneyland’s Special Fantasyland promotion “Disney Afternoon Avenue” and “Rescue Rangers Raceway began. (Ended Nov. 10, 1991)
Mar. 15, 1991 – The “Baloo’s Dressing Room” attraction opened in Fantasyland at Disneyland. (Closed Sept. 8, 1991)
Mar. 15, 1991 – The Fantasyland Autopia at Disneyland was dressed up as “Rescue Rangers Raceway” for a special promotion for the Disney Afternoon TV series.
Mar. 15, 1991 – Disney Afternoon Avenue, a colorful street of cartoon buildings located between “It’s A Small World” and “Videopolis,” opened at Disneyland.
Mar. 15, 1996 – The Disney/Touchstone film “Two Much” was released.
Mar. 15, 1998 – “PB&J Otter,” a half-hour animated TV series, premiered on the Disney Channel.
Mar. 15, 1998 - Disney’s 2-hour TV movie “Mr. Headmistress” aired on the Wonderful World of Disney.
