Does Jungle Cruise run at night? For all the times I've been to MK I've only done it in the day time. This trip I won't be getting there til evening.

yes, it runs it night- and it's a lot of fun! The night time seems to lend an air of excitement that's not there during the day. I think you'll enjoy an evening ride very much!

Jungle Cruise is a blast at night. Its usually not as crowded at night and it gives the ride a different feel. We got lucky where it was us and another couple, no one else. The "skipper" really went all out, especially with some jokes he couldn't have got away with during the day when its busy. I def recommend the Jungle Cruise at night

Thanks everyone, I'm so excited now. I just don't know why I never did it at night before.

Yes. Like everything else at Disney, it's better at night! Your boat usually isn't full so it's much more intimate and there's a much different atmosphere than during the day. :mickey:

I love it at night it's a different experience and a lot of fun. I always try to ride 2 times once during the day and then again at night:thumbsup:

I totally agree with everyone - Jungle Cruise is 100% better at night. The CMs seems to veer from the script a little more and it's so much fun.

The later the better. Besides the cast members being a little wilder, some riders can be funny as well, and the boats are normally not as crowded.

The darkness surrounding the boats sure does add to the experience. You can't see what is coming until the boat's lights go on!

Thanks. I'll be trying this on our upcomming trip.

Splash Mountain is heaps of fun when it's dark, too.

Our last trip we rode it during the day & our son (7 then) got to "drive" through the temple. At the end, the skipper gave him a cute card that was his "Skipper's License" and told him that he could now drive any boat at the MK. When we went back that night, DS proudly held the card up when we were boarding, so the CM's loading said "Hey Andre - you have a new skipper for this cruise" and the skipper moved over and let DS drive the entire ride. It was SO very cute & DS took it all VERY seriously. Needless to say, night time excursions are the VERY best! :mickey:

There is definitely a different feel to a night cruise on The Jungle Cruise- but much harder to see ceratin ride elements because the skipper needs to shine a spotlight on what you're viewing.

We only ride at night...if for no other reason than the fact that "the mysterious flying elephants" only come out well after dark.

Yup, it's even more fun at night--the skippers are hilarious and the "passengers" seem to loosen up a bit and laugh more!

Night time is definitely awesome, and the CMs seem to get a little more creative and fun when there are less little kids around. Definitely a great ride after dark!

If I remember it correctly we did jungle cruise once in the evening. It was whilst waiting for a parade to start. We weren't originally intending to go on it, as some of our previous experience of the ride involved a very poor skipper, but I really must agree it was brilliant.

As it's late on in the day the ride is almost empty, so you get a much more intimate feeling. The darkness also greatly increases the atmosphere, as the scenes jump out at you more in the dark (you aren't able to see them coming until the lights actually shined on it).

All in all, muchly recommended by me.
