D23 membership

Just curious what people think of the D23 membership. I am not sure I would be able to participate in the D23 event in August, but wanted to know what people that are members think about this and what it has to offer.

Is it worth the $75 annually for the gold membership or not?

I personally like the D23 membership. I love all the events and the magazine is great! They are offering a cheaper membership now and I think its like $30-something. The only difference between that and the $75 is that you do not get the quarterly magazine. Some people complain about paying for the membership and THEN having to pay for the events, but I think the money is well worth the experiences they give you. The D23 events are very well coordinated and LOTS of fun and there's always a special souvenir that you get for free at the events! They also sent me a free D23 watch when I renewed this year. Its all about personal preference though and how big of a Disney fanatic you are :mickey:
