Feb. 27, 1987 – Tokyo Disneyland welcomed its 40-millionth guest.
Feb. 27, 1992 – Movie star Elizabeth Taylor took over Disneyland for a private after-hours 60th birthday bash.
Feb. 27, 1992 – Hundreds of Disney Cast Members fanned out across 50 acres of land northwest of WDW on land owned by the Reedy Creek Improvement District. They planted 50,000 pine tree seedlings in the shape of the three circles. (A hidden Mickey)
Feb. 27, 1994 – Figure skater Nancy Kerrigan skipped the closing ceremonies of the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer so she can begin her multi-million dollar endorsements with Disney World.
Feb. 27, 1995 - Michael Eisner and filmmaker George Lucas are on hand at Disneyland for the official dedication of the parks newest attraction, Indiana Jones Adventure.
