IPod touch help, pplease!

I have a 2nd generation IPod touch. When I open the Safari web browser and do a Google search, there used to be a section right at the top that would allow you to touch for images. It has disappeared. I have no idea where it went to. My daughter used it and when I got it back from her it was gone. She does not know what she did. Also when you go down and click on Image results for, it will pull up the screen, but will only show white squares where the image results should be.
I have no idea how to fix it. Does anyone know what happened to it and how to get it back to the way it was?

I figured it out. I don't know how it happened, but it's fixed. Note to self: Don't let children touch your stuff.
