Has WDW historically offered free dining if staying at a Deluxe like the Grand Floridian? We used it last year at CB at it was great!

The last promo I saw offered it for both the moderate and deluxe resorts.

The value resorts were offered the Quick Service plan for free, but you could pay the difference and upgrade to the standard dining.

It is also worth looking at the room only discounts. Depending on how many people are in your party (kids and adults) the room discount can be more than free dining.

we are getting 40% off at poly which is coming out to a savings of right around $200 a night. For my family, free dining would only save us about $116 a night.

As always, it may be limited in quantities, so while it may be available for "deluxe level" as it was with the 2010 offerings, but finding availability at the deluxe that you want AND getting the free DDP isn't always an easy feat.

We had toyed with a deluxe with room discount vs the free dining plan but could not find availability with that promotion, so instead went moderate with the free dining.
