Jan. 31, 1992 – The “Professor Barnaby Owl’s Photographic Art Studio” opened at the exit of Disneyland’s Splash Mountain.
Jan. 31, 1993 – At Super Bowl XXVII (in Pasadena) Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman declared “I’m going to Disneyland!” after his teams 52-17 win over the Buffalo Bills.
Jan. 31, 1994 – Epcot’s Communicore East and West closed at WDW.
Jan. 31, 1994 - Energy Exchange closed in CommuniCore East.
Jan. 31, 1994 - FutureCom closed in CommuniCore West at Epcot.
Jan. 31. 1995 - The animated Disney movie “Gargoyles: The Movie: The Heroes Awaken” was released on video.
Jan. 31, 1997 – The Disney/Hollywood Picture film “Shadow Conspiracy” was released in U.S. theaters.
Jan. 31, 1998 – This was the last day of the 25th Anniversary Celebration at WDW, and would be the end of the Cinderella Castle Cake.
Jan. 31, 1998 – The “Remember the Magic” parade would march down Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom at WDW. (It would be renamed “Disney’s Magical Moments.”)
Jan. 31, 1998 - Apple Computer closed at Innoventions East.
