I just walked into work tonight, and for whatever reason, it smelled like the Pop Century food court. Kind of like waffles and coffee.
It took me right back!
What scents take YOU back to WDW?

I know this is totally disgusting, but the other day I was in Publix and walked past a man that hadn't showered in days, or so it would seem. The smell reminded me of the monorail, as we always seem to get on with sweaty, dirty people.

Also, for some reason, the doors at my local Cracker Barrel smell like the Animal Kingdom. It just has a "zoo" smell to it.

Now, for a more enjoyable scent...lately when I step outside my condo, I smell the Magic Kingdom bakery! I don't know who is baking what, but it smells delicious. And I bake a lot, so I know that certain smell is difficult to be duplicated, but I'd love to find out what they're making.

When I smell fresh popped pop corn. Like when you pass the pop corn carts.

That is just how the monorails smell. lol You can be the very first people on the monorail early in the morning and it will smell like B.O. Apparently its some of the materials that smell like that. We joke around about that from time to time....if we pass somebody as you did in a public place, we joke around and say we must be on the monorail.

I also LOVE the smell of the popcorn. My favorite is walking around the World Showcase and passing by Norway. The smell of the perfume is amazing. We loved it so much that we purchased it in 2008. Everyday for the last three years I am reminded of the great times thanks to my wife.

Our Target bathrooms smell just like the bathrooms at WDW. People must think I'm nuts when I exit the bathrooms and tell my family "I love that smell".

My living room smells like the lobbys at BC, YC, and GF. I actually purchased a machine from a company that WDW gets their scent machines from. I have a very small one room version and the scent Green Clover and Aloe, which is what is used at those resorts. I love that smell and often times I catch my kids standing over the machine smelling it.

Just the other day at a home improvement store their bathroom smelled just like the elevator at the Poly. I don't know what it is exactly, but the elevator at the Poly has a very distinct smell.

Anytime we are out at night, especially near the mall, it smells like DTD at night.

What?! Really??? I was going to ask if anyone knows how to get that scent...I just love walking through the Beach Club and Grand Floridian! Do you mind sending me the info?

Whenever I smell honeysuckle it takes me back to walking through the Poly grounds in the early evening.

And any campfire is enough to transport me to Spaceship Earth and Ancient Rome :)

I was at one of the casinos in Connecticut for dinner the other night, and they have a large fountain in their "mall"ish area...it smells just like the water rides/fountains at Disney. My boyfriend and I both commented on it at the same time.

Bad news on the Enviroscent machine. It appears that the machine I purchased has been discontinued. I went to the website to see about ordering refills and another machine and couldn't find it anywhere. I did email customer service, but haven't heard back from them yet. When I do a search on the site I get a message that if you've previously purchased the machine you can contact them for refill orders. So it appears that the machine is no longer available. The only machine available is $199! That's a bit much. I'll let you all know if I find out that the machine is still avaiable.

The smells of Main Street always bring me back. The smell of Popcorn and fresh ice cream cones remind me of walking down Main Street for the 1st time of the trip on the way to Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.

The drive thru window at my local McDonald's smells like breakfast time at the CBR food court.

Smelling bromine in water features elsewhere immediately takes me to Splash Mountain and POC in my mind.
