Jan. 27, 1995 – The Disney/Hollywood Pictures film “Miami Rhaposdy” had its intial release in Los Angeles and New York. (General release was Feb. 3, 1995)
Jan. 27, 1995 - CBS aired the Disney special “The Best of Country” hosted by Clint Black.
Jan. 27, 1996 - The Inaugural Indy 200 at WDW Motor Speedway took place.
Jan. 27, 1997 – Walt Disney Records reissued the soundtrack to the animated feature “Bambi,” exactly 55 years after it was originally released.
Jan. 27, 1998 – Walt Disney Records released “Friends Forever” featuring songs sung by “Winnie the Pooh,” “Piglet,” and “Eeyore.” Also released was the album “Ariel’s Favorites” a compilation of songs from previous Little Mermaid CDs.
Jan. 27, 1999 - The French newspaper “Le Parisien” released the story that a 2nd theme park would open at Disneyland Paris in April of 2002.
Jan. 27, 1996 - Disney World’s Shades of Green Resort was sold to the U.S. Military.
Jan. 27, 2001 – The Disney animated series House of Mouse aired the episode “Big Bad Wolf Daddy.”
Jan. 27, 2003 – Disney’s hour-long drama series “Miracles” premiered on ABC. (Ended Mar. 3, 2003)
Jan. 27, 2003 – Disney’s hour-long action-adventure drama series “Veritas: The Quest” premiered on ABC-TV. (Ended Mar. 10, 2003)
