leaving things at bell services

OK, odd question. I know different companies that deliver groceries & such can leave things at bell services for you. (for example, grocery delivery sites that leave your groceries for you until you have bell services deliver them to your room) is this something that a guest too could utlize?
I ask because, I'm making an attempt to suprise my husband, was thinking about assembing a gourmet picnic basket (unbeknownst to him) could I do it at day or 2 in advance and have bell services hold it (and keep it refrigerated) for me for a day or 2 until I called down for it?

Just make sure they actually refrigerate we did it in June and they left our perishables in the heat all day :ack: They did replace them the next day however.
