How many years in a row can you bank your points for?

In a given use year you have potential access to 3 years worth of points---you might have banked from the prior use year, the current use year and you can borrow from the next use year. Once you bank or borrow points they will expire at the end of the current use year---they cannot be banked for a second year or, if borrowed, they cannot be banked or returned to their original use year.

You can continue to bank points every year but they will be different points you book each year. For example, you have 200 points with a June use year. You use up 100 points and have 100 points that you don't plan to use before June 1st. By the end of January, you will need to bank those points. In June, you will get a new allocation of 200 points for your new use year and will get your 100 banked points as well. In this year, you use up your previously 100 banked points and 100 additional points from your current use year. In January, you can again bank the remaining 100 years to use in the next year.
