Birthday cake?

My wife is celebrating her birthday while in the world.We are having dinner at Ohana's.Do i have to call the reataraunt directly or should I contact disney dining for a cake.Also how far in advance should I let them know and are there differnet stlyes of cake we can choose from?

There are different styles to chose from but from everything I've heard, 'Ohana doesn't have a great record for customized cakes. The standard birthday/celebration cake is frozen and thawed out, and I think made by Sara Lee.

You don't mention where you're staying, but certain resorts really do have great options for in room cakes. And you can order a cake through the Disney Florists for all resorts.
