Download Voucher, Dine During Off Hours, Save 30 Percent

posted on December 8th, 2010 by Pam Brandon, Disney Parks Food Writer

Here’s an easy way to save vacation dollars and enjoy a delicious theme park dining experience. Between Dec. 19 and Jan. 3 at Disneyland Resort and between Dec. 19 and Jan. 1 at Walt Disney World Resort, you can redeem a voucher to save 30 percent with the purchase of any entrée at select restaurants. But please note that you must dine before noon or between 3 and 4:30 p.m. (and alcohol is excluded).

Just think – you’ll save money and alleviate wait times when you dine in these off-peak hours during one of the busiest seasons at the Disney theme parks.

Forget burgers and dogs and fill up on a delectable entrée like the Hacienda Caesar Salad at Rancho del Zocalo in Disneyland Park or an Asian Rice Bowl at Lucky Fortune Cookery at Disney California Adventure Park. Find a seat upstairs at Columbia Harbour House in Magic Kingdom Park and relax with a big bowl of vegetarian chili. Go for the grilled salmon or rotisserie pork chop at Sunshine Seasons at Epcot. The Buffalo chicken sandwich at Studio Catering Company at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the tasty barbecue from Flame Tree Barbecue at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park round out our recommendations. The full list of restaurants is below.

You can print out a voucher using the links above, or at Walt Disney World Resort it’s in the Times Guide, at the bottom of select merchandise receipts, or at the bottom of receipts from select resort quick-service restaurants. At Disneyland Resort, it’s on the Holiday Entertainment Guide or on select merchandise receipts.

Sorry, can’t be combined with any other offer or promotion. Theme park admission is required and taxes and tips are not included.

Quick service does not equal dining in my book. Nice gesture, but.....

This offer will give an opportunity for many folk to enjoy a meal in the park. I think this is a very cool thing -- and it has the potential to bring in some extra money that might not have been there. Considering the mark-up on food, DLR will still e making a profit.

Just evidence that no matter what Disney does, they can't please everyone.
