So last night, my family went to a friends house for dinner and to exchange a few gift for the kids since they will be out of town for Christmas.
I get handed a gift and my first thought, "Great, what kind of useless thing did they get me?" Much to my surprise, it was a Mickey/Minnie salt and pepper shaker set. Cutest thing! I am stoked and excited about it.
So, then the wife goes on to tell me she received it as a gift last year; her first thought.."Why would someone give this to me?" Second thought, "Not2Loud loved all Disney stuff, have his Christmas gift next year!"
I found the story rather amusing and totally love my new little set. I doubt I will use them as such, but rather in my display with my other Disneyana at the the office.
Truly one mans trash is anothers treasure!
