WHO:

Me -- Tracey
DH -- Tim
DD14 -- Kourtney
DN14 -- Kaitlyn

WHEN:

December 11--19

WHERE:

Wilderness Lodge -- Woods View

This is a much needed vacation for some fun after a dreadful year. DH lost both his parents to cancer in the last year and just wants to get away. Kaitlyn is his sister's daughter and she's never been to Disney. She is so excited and her and Kourtney IM every night talking about it. She lives in Mass and we will pick her up in Albany next Friday and then drive to Syracuse to stay at the hotel near the airport. Our flight leaves at 7am. Our return flight leaves at 7:40pm. We are flying Jet Blue.

We have park hopper passes and will go with the flow. We will probably start at MK so that Kaitlyn can see the castle and then head over to Epcot as we are eating dinner at Tutto Italia.
We are going to MVMCP on Tuesday night and so looking forward to it. We have never been. I plan on going to the Candlelight Processional on Thursday to see Thomas Gibson (Criminal Minds). We have been to WDW twice before during the Christmas holidays --- just love the decorations.

My ADR's are:

Tutto Italia
LeCellier
Grand Floridian Cafe
Kona Cafe
Ragland Road
Captain's Grille
Mama Melrose
Chef Mickey's

This is our first stay at WL. I've always wanted to stay here.

I'm so sorry about your family's losses. I lost both my parents within a couple of months of each other. That's really tough.

Sounds like you'll have a wonderful holiday celebration in Disney World! Enjoy!

Sounds like an awesome trip:thumbsup: be sure and take time to visit the other deluxe resorts; they are like a park visit in-themselves during the holidays.

Don't forget Osborne Festival of Lights in Hollywood Studios. Remember, do as much as you can on the weekdays. By the 17th, things will really start to pick-up.

Have a terrific trip!

It was very COLD during our trip; but we made the most of it and had a great time. My niece was in 'awe' of everything. So fun to watch her expression with everything as she has never been. I will write a trip report --- just may take some time with Christmas in a few days and I still need to finish shopping, wrapping, etc!!
