Kids see the world through new eyes.

Last year, when I asked my GS if he liked the TZToT he replied, “Yes! It made my butt jump!”

Last week found my little fireworks lover sitting in an umbrella stroller right in front of Cinderella’s Castle ready to watch the super fireworks at MVMCP – and he went to sleep. I’m really asleep. His Dad picked his hand up by the wrist and raised it to the child’s eyelevel and dropped it. He didn’t stir. From then through the fireworks and the bus back to POFQ and into bed, still asleep.

The next morning he woke up before everyone else, sat up in bed and announced it was time to ride some more. When we told him he slept through the fireworks he explained simply, “My sound was off.”

What a great story!

My 'sound goes off', too. but usually not at Disney. Well, take that back, I have been known to doze a little in the American Adventure...

Our first time to WDW in 2004 my DH and DD spent the second day of the trip rating the attractions in EPCOT by the length of their nap.

After a night at the resort staying up late to watch a movie (while my wife slept), I found myself asleep in the middle of Festival of the Lion King. My wife said she couldn't believe I was out cold when the music was so loud. Guess even adults can turn the sound off.

I have to admit that my sound turns off on Ellen's Universe of Energy. Probably the best 40 minute nap in all the "world." It's a snoring good time.:mickey:

“My sound was off.”

Can I do this with my in-laws without anyone knowing? :rotfl:
