Nov. 20, 1940 – Singer Tony Butala was born in Sharon, PA. Known as the lead singer for the vocal group The Lettermen since 1958, as a youngster he supplied the voice of Slightly, one of the Lost Boys in Disney’s 1953 “Peter Pan.”
Nov. 20, 1942 – Disney’s Pluto cartoon “Pluto at the Zoo” was released.
Nov. 20, 1946 – A press screening for Disney’s “Song of the South” took place in New York.
Nov. 20, 1948 – Samuel E. Wright, the voice of Sebastian in Disney’s 1989 classic “The Little Mermaid,” was born in Camden, S.C.
Nov. 20, 1957 – The Disney TV show aired “The Best Doggoned Dog in the World.”
Nov. 20, 1959 – The Disney TV show aired episode 8 of “Elfego Baca: Mustang Man, Mustang Maid.”
Nov. 20, 1960 – Disney’s part-1 of the 2-part television movie “Moochie of Pop Warner Football” aired. (Part-2 aired Nov. 27, 1960)
Nov. 20, 1963 – Disney’s live-action film “The Incredible Journey” was generally released.
Nov. 20, 1963 – Actress Ming-Na, the voice of Mulan in both “Mulan” and “Mulan II,” was born in Coloane Island, Macau, China.
Nov. 20, 1977 – The Disney TV show “The Mouseketeers at Walt Disney World” aired.
