Met a Disney Board Member

I was at a wedding this weekend where a relative of mine married a relative of a member of Disney's Board of Directors. I got to talk privatly with him for 10 minutes or so. He was very pleasent and down to earth and was happy to indulge me with his time to talk about Disney. One of the things I learned was that from time to time the Board members meet at WDW for a few days and they always stay at different hotels. One time they even stayed at a value just so they could get the feel of staying there.

Did you implore him to start reading discussion boards, like INTERCOT, to get the feel of real visitors?

It IS good to know that they at least have the experience of visiting once in a while and actually see what their decisions do!

BTW - I do understand that this was a Disney Board of Directors member, not Disney Parks....There is more to Disney than just the parks and resorts.
