Pirates rehab dates

Planning a trip for 2011 and love that first full week in June. Only thing is, last time we went that week, Pirates of the Caribbean was down for refurb.

Anyone know if this is a historical time period for Pirates refurb? Haven't been paying attention the last couple of years.

As far as I know, the only major attraction that has a historical refurb is Splash Mountain. Pirates was down until July 2006 when it re-opened from its update, and also was closed for the first half of June in 2008. But that doesn't mean that any refurb it does have will take place in June or the summer. You should be fine, but you never know for sure what will take place in half a year from now...

Yes, June 2008 was when we were there, and it was just a couple of weeks -- it was speculated that they were taking it down from the Pirates and Princesses parties (although I never understood that).
