El Pirata y el Perico - is it open now? Going in 8 days!

We've always wanted to eat here but, it's always closed. Anyone there last week or this week and notice if its open? or better yet, ate there?

We were there this past weekend...Oct 1st-5th and it was closed. They even had it boarded up out front. Not sure if, and when it will reopen. Have eaten there in the past and it was alright.

We were there in Sept and had the QSDP. Every time we went, it was closed and told us to go to Pecos Bill or Tall Tale Inn. We really wanted to try it since we were all getting a little tired of burgers and chicken nuggets :(.

We ate there in May last year. Tacos were a nice change, but they were incredibly greasy.

Ate there in August. I was disappointed that they took the tacos off the menu. But the taco salad was OK.

Bad news...it's walled off and closed for refurb. :(
