Well, here I am in the cardiac unit of an unknown hospital in Georgia. Got up to drive down with my DW, DD and grandson. After a fairly sleepless night which I blew off as excitement, we got in the car to drive south only to make a quick detour to the ER for chest pains and some other symptoms.
Fortunately all test have come back great and after a stress test this morning I expect to be in Disney a day late but with a clean bill of health. My daughter managed to convince the folks at guest relations to delay our reservation one day so we don't lose any time at the world.
So once again I'm ready to hit the road. Providing the doctors release me.
Oddly enough, the man right across the hall from me was to leave for for the World yesterday as well. Seems we both will be a day behind, but we're both dying to get there.
As the Jimmy Buffett song says, I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead.
