Thought some of you would like to see the menus.

Of note, looks like only desserts at the Cantina are on the dining plan?

And a coffee maragarita. Anyone ever had one?

Would love to try them both! The Cantina menu is more sparse than I expected, though. Did you try anything?

I'm impressed by the new menu (except for the lack of a veg entree at Hacienda). And coffee margaritas? They don't sell those at Starbucks! :marg:

Can't wait to try both of these restaurants our next trip. Any word to changes to San Angel Inn's menu?

Coffee margarita sure sounds good to me!

The CM described them as 'strong' to me - not as in liquor, but as in coffee taste.

I guess I'll give one a try soon. :coffee:

The most EXCITING thing I see on those menus is...

....CHICKEN TENDERS! YES!!! That means we can eat here as a family. :D

3/4 of us LOVE Mexican food. 1/4 of us eats nothing but fried chicken and hamburgers.

On a serious note, the menu for Hacienda looks pretty great! I can't wait to try it.

So happy WDW finally has tacos again. On our last trip, my kids went nuts looking for tacos at San Angel and the CS place outside Pirates at MK. None to be found anywhere! Closest we could get was a taco salad.

The starter tacos are minis and on corn tortilla.
The Parradilla plates are served for 2 and they wouldn't break it down for just one serving. :(

It's a lovely dining room and a great view of the water. The restaurant really has a small room as soon as you walk in off to the side with no view of the water. And then the large dining room where every seat has a view.

I love margaritas and coffee--trying to imagine what they taste like together!?

I was chatting with one of the CMs about it, and she said if you like strong coffee, you should like it. Kinda like a frappacino with liquor.

A coffee margarita does sound interesting. I think I would try one!

Can you get one BEFORE the presentation? Might make it more enjoyable. ;) :marg:

Duffy is coming to DCA in October (the 14th, to be exact). He's going to have his own Meet and Greet area.

I am disappointed. I had heard that the menu was going to be Tex Mex, and was really looking forward to that! I have been missing it ever since a job I had in Texas!

I am guessing that would be a no since the countries try to provide an "authentic" experience. I love Tex-Mex too though.

You are correct. I read an interview with the executive chef of the new restaurants. He said he will stay authentic to Mexican cuisine. The menu covers a few regions in Mexico. Here's the interview:

Mel--can't wait to read your review about the coffee margarita. Enjoy!:marg:
