lock on balcony AKL

Hi. I'm leaving in 16days and it will be our first stay at AKL and I'm starting to get nervous about the balconies with my DS (3). Can anyone let me know if there is the lock on top of the sliding door that he can't reach. He is capable of undoing the regular one on the door if it's the same as a regular sliding door lock. I am not a super nervous person but I know I won't be able to sleep unless I know that the door is securely locked. Thanks.

:mickey: I had the same concern with my 4yo daughter. I can't recall exactly, but I think there are two locks: the normal sliding door lock and then a manual mechanical lock mechanism. The latter is up higher and should be out of the reach of a child.

I was just there 3 weeks ago. Previous poster is correct. There are 2 locks. In addition to the normal one, the second one is higher up and is not a slider lock. No worries.
