I keep hearing everyone raving about Sonny Eclipse. I have seen pictures but can't imagine what is so great about him... can anyone enlighten me? Thanks!:mickey:

Sonny is the lounge singer at Cosmic Ray's. We love him, can't go to MK without seeing Sonny perform.:mickey:

We're big Sonny fans too. His songs are funny and it is nice to relax and listen to him while we eat. Definitely a change of pace from other CS meals. :mickey:

Sonny is an alien from Yew Nork that sings and tells jokes at Cosmic Rays. His funny songs and light humor bring a Ray of sunshine (or air conditioning) to your stress filled, ride hopping day at the MK. It is very relaxing, once you find a table, to sit and have lunch, dinner or just a cold drink or snack and listen to his show. :mickey: We love him!!

He's fun to watch while you are eating over at Cosmic Ray's. A little entertainment while you eat.:mickey:

My son spent 20 minutes dancing to his songs when he was 2...so funny.

Of course, if you stay there long enough, the loop repeats, and it gets kind of old....we haven't been to see Sonny in a few years. We have fallen in love with Columbia Harbor House, so that's where we do lunch now.

We ate there just a few weeks ago because we were sure the kids would love him. I guess they are spoiled from all the great things they have seen at WDW because they didn't pay him much mind while they were eating. We even had a front row seat! When DD1 was only 2yo, she danced to his music and loved him. This tame she said he ws "funny looking."

Oh well. My wife and I enjoyed his little show. Took us way back to our honeymoon trip...oh the memories! :mickey:

Last time we ate there was Feb. 07'. We usually do lunch at Pecos Bill's.

I've eaten here since the kids came along 2 trips ago. It seems to keep them distracted so that they don't go to crazy as usual. Now I can't imagine a WDW trip with "Planetary Boogie".

But honestly folks, I really do love your beautiful planet earth. It's big and round and blue and green..... JUST LIKE MY MOTHER-IN-LAW.:mickey:

I would go to Cosmic Ray's to catch Sonny's ace even if I weren't hungry! Gotta love Sonny!

To me Sonny is one of those mini attractions that easily get overlooked in all the hussle and bussle. When you slow down and take the time to enjoy the atmosphere at Cosmic Rays you find little treasures like Sonny. He's not fantastic...certainly not a must see for me, but he can put a smile on your face even though his jokes are extra cheesy. :)

Where else can you be entertained by a singing lounge lizard while eating lunch? Sonny Eclipse is a great little extra you can find at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

The intercot station on a certain website (can I mention this website, since its an intercot station in question) plays most of Sonny's show at least twice a day. I listen to it at least once a week, and still love it. Its not a trip without catching Sonnys show

It is amazing how many people ignore Sonny when you are in cosmic rays. It is actually very entertaining.:mickey:

We have plenty of pictures and videos of him. My kids love to dance to his music. Its a nice little break to eat and sit and relax in the AC for a while and have the kids entertained. Mom and Dad get to rest while the kids dance!
