How long does the garland in MK stay down for???

When they are filming the parade I heard that they take down the garland and the flag pole, is this true ? and if so when do they put it back? I ask because I want to get there and take a picture of the castle from the train station and I want an unubstructed view of it :) I have a picture of the castle from last October with all the Halloween decorations and I love it but the flag pole kinda ubstructs the view a bit.

The garland on MS comes down for the parade taping and within a couple of days after that is completed, the garland goes back up and the large tree goes up in Town Square at the same time.

When the taping is complete on Sunday afternoon you "might" have until Tuesday night to get your picture. Just depends a lot on the weather as to when what pieces go up first.

Is is known which day the parade is being taped?

Last year was the 3rd thru the 6th. Don't know what the schedule is for this year but should be about that same time frame.
