Excluding Fantasmic! and all parades, what is your favorite daily show at a WDW theme park that features live performers?

Finding Nemo: The Musical

It amazes me how the cast can blend into the character puppets/marionettes! Love it!

Probably Festival of the Lion King. I watched Nemo the Musical in 2007 and didn't like it too much because the character playing Crush was horrible. He didn't even try to do a surfer dude/stoner voice. His lispy voice totally ruined the character IMO. I haven't been back since but plan to this year for 2nd opinion.

But, I guess I would say Festival of the Lion King.

Hunchback of Notre Dame used to be my favorite attraction at WDW (except Illuminations,) not just show. Still not sure why they cancelled it.

Now I'd say Beauty and the Beast (unless you count Off Kilter as a show.)

And for the record, every other show is better than Fantasmic! or the parades.

Festival of The Lion King; we usually try to see it twice when we are there

Too bad you excluded Fantasmic! as I was very much looking forward to NOT voting for it. Seriously, why do people get so excited to wait in a huge crowd for 2 hours in order to watch over half an hour of disney clips projected on water and about 30 seconds of actual stage show and fireworks?

In other news does Muppetvison count? I like muppets. They make me happy.

Canadian live show think kilt-wearing:rocker: with:pipes:. Edgy, updated Celt/Irish songs. My DH's absolute favorite. They perform Sundays thru Thurs. usually late afternoon into the evening.

Mine used to be the Moroccan acrobats.

It's funny reading these posts because I thought I was the only one who did not like Fantasmic. Nice to know there are others out there.

As far as my favorite? Probably the band at the Biergarten. But that may have a lot to do with the

My favorite is Illuminations, but I think Fantasmic is a very close second. Can't wait for Disney to bring the World of Color to WDW somehow.

The Dapper Dans! You gotta love barbershop quartet music on Mainstreet. The perfect blend of music and atmosphere. (Which Disney does well everywhere.) Last trip I told them I had once sung with a barbershop group, and the next thing I know I'm wearing a straw hat and singing "Coney Island Baby" while DW snapped pictures like mad. :tiphat:

Also gotta put a plug in for The Jammitors at EPCOT. They're great.

This is a tough question. I love the Festival of the Lion King, but I also love how happy my son gets during the Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid shows. That's pretty special.
I have to say though, the Aladdin show in Disneyland is hands down (in my opinion) the greatest Disney show yet.

I love Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid and Lion King, in that order.:mickey:

I love to watch the musical they do on Cinderella's castle stage. It changes ever so often and I love the story lines which fits into the Disney fairytale of Good always wins out in the end and everyone lives happy ever after.:princess:

Best stage show: Finding Nemo. I do a lot of musical theater, and I know what goes into putting on that kind of high caliber show. Amazing.

I'm surprised nobody has given any props to the Voices of Liberty! They are by far, the best a cappella group around. It's on my "bucket list" to sing just one set with them.

Wow, that's tough! I love Nemo: The Musical; Off-Kilter is great; I never miss Beauty&Beast; and the World Showcase players are hilarious.

But without a doubt, my favorite live show is The Voices of Liberty. They draw out emotion in me that no one else can. Simply amazing.

Festival of the Lion King is my favorite! I have yet to see Beauty and the Beast, but looking forward to seeing it next trip. Didn't feel like waiting 2 hours for Fantasmic since the lady on the reservations line actually told us it really wasn't necessary to book the dinner show package. I still don't understand why she told me that, so that is another one that will have to wait until next trip. Finding Nemo was very good, and I love Illuminations (are we calling this a show?) as well. :mickey:

My top four, I can't pick just one, is Beauty and the Beast at DHS, Festival of the Lion King at AK, and Voices of Liberty and the Drum and Fife Corps at EPCOT.

Festival of the Lion King! Lion King is my favorite Disney movie of all anyway, but the show is fantastic! I love how they blend in all the songs from the movie into a great show, and I especially love the monkeys!! :simba:

I also really enjoy the Dream Along with Mickey show at the castle- it is so empowering lol! :pixie:

Festival of the Lion King, but oh, those bleachers. And, everytime I go I have to wear earplugs. The sound is deafening, but the show is first-rate.
