can someone please explain this to me? i know that its really important to reserve 180 days out but can you really start at 190 days out? i read in a book you could but wanted to hear from others who have actually done it and their experience.

This can be a bit confusing.

It isn't 190-days in advance, but if you're staying on site, you can reserve for the first 10 days of your trip, at the 180-day mark of your first day.

So, say your 180-day "mark" is September 1, on Sept. 1, if you're staying on-site, you can make ADR's for up to 10-days of your trip. Otherwise, you have to call back each day, to make ADR's for 180 days in the future.

So, you will be able to make ADR's for the end of your trip more than 180-days in advance, since they are within the 180+10 window.

Thanks for the clarification! My hubbie insisted that it was at 190 days, and I kept telling him nope!

I'm glad it helped ... it is one of more confusing parts of booking a Disneey trip :mickey:
