change in ressies

for our trip coming in sept we have adrs made for a party of 4. now we find out two people may not be with us for some of the meals . should we do anything

You could loose your ressies if they don't have a table for 2 available. If your not sure I would keep the ressies and let the restaurant know when you check in. My nephew was sick for one of our ressies and I stayed back with him. The rest of our group went on and it was not a problem.

It's usually much easier to downgrade your party size than to add. However, so that Disney could possible open up a table of 4 for someone else, call and see if you can change your party size to 2. If there is not an ADR for 2 available, then keep your reservation for 4. That way you don't lose anything, but you could possibly create an opening for someone else.
