Would anyone mind listing their top 3 choices for table services at each of the 4 parks? Trying to make plans for Jan...... Thanks!:mickey:

I prefer TS restaurants out of parks at the resort hotels. But in parks, my choices would be:

MK: Crystal Palace
Epcot: Bistro de Paris, or Chefs de France (but too many good choices).
AK: Yak and Yeti
DHS: Brown Derby, with Sci-Fi as a second in case you don't want a 2 TS.

But you might want to check out this thread (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=171517&page=5), in which we all offered our favorites to make the Great 8 TS According to Us.

We eat quite often at table service but all over. These aren't three but are our favourites ~
AK: Yak & Yeti
DHS: 50s Prime Time
Epcot: TeppanEdo; Marrakesh
MK: we don't do TS here

If you have an open mind, and an adventurous palette ~ you can have lotsa fun!

I can't give 3 choices, but I'll give you my favorites:

Tusker House at Animal Kingdom
LeCellier at Canada in Epcot's World Showcase
Beirgarten in Germany at World Showcase
Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom
The Plaza Restaurant at MK
No suggestion for Hollywood Studios--used to think 50's Prime Time Cafe , but was a little disappointed when there in June.:mickey:

These are what we would recommend out of what we've tried....

Crystal Palace-decent for a buffet, good character interaction

Hollywood Studios:
Nothing stands out yet

Animal Kingdom:
Rainforest Cafe-this is a tradition for us

Epcot:
Lecellier-our favorite WS so far
Biergarten-decent food, fun entertainment
Chefs De France-decent food, really good desert

Magic Kingdom:
Crystal Palace (We like breakfast here.)
Liberty Tree Tavern (DS11 and DD9 are picky eaters and like the "normal" turkey and stuffing food.)
I wouldn't recommend anywhere else in MK.

Epcot:
Le Cellier (everyone loves a good steak.)
Coral Reef (kids love the aquarium, food used to be better.)
Biergarten (DS11 is a definite carnivore)
We like every TS in Epcot, it's hard to list just 3.

Animal Kingdom:
Tusker House (everyone loves a buffet.)
Rainforest Cafe (The theme is better than the food)
Yak & Yetti (I liked it, nobody else in my group did.)

Hollywood Studios
Brown Derby (It's only on my list because I really want to go there but have not been there yet due to needing 2TS.)
Hollywood & Vine (everyone loves a buffet.)
Sci-Fi Dine-In (again, theme is better than food. Last time our waiter was able to memorize our order without writing it down. We usually confuse them enough when they ARE writing it down. That guy got a big tip.)

I do recommend many resort TS restaurants, but we don’t normally like to leave the park to have dinner and then come back. It wastes a lot of time that we could be spending on rides.
Our January ’11 trip is going to be a long one so we are also including:
Ohana
Spirit of Aloha Polynesian Luau (worth the 2 TS)
Chef Mickey’s (a must do for character breakfast)

MK -
Crystal Palace
The only other place where I dined somewhat recently (5 years ago) was Tony's and it was OK.

EPCOT -
Teppan Edo
Marrakesh
Le Cellier

AK -
Tusker House
Haven't eaten at another TS here.

DHS -
Never eaten TS here. Is there decent dining at DHS?

I generally prefer resort TS restaurants over park TS restaurants.

An excellent question, and here's my answer...

MK:
1. Crystal Palace: Breakfast (be in the park when it opens!)
2. Crystal Palace: Dinner
3. Tony's/Cinderella's Table: Both were decent, but not over the top great. No real complaints, just not in the overall top ten.

Epcot:
1. San Angel Inn: Atmosphere! Personally I thought the food was great, but the service only passable. You can tell they aren't WDW trained there.
2. Akershus: I thought the lunch we had there in 98' was fabulous, but that was a long time ago, and we're doing breakfast this time instead.
3. Garden Grill: Had a fabulous breakfast here once. Don't know if they still do it, but I'm sure dinner would be nice.

MGM:
1. Hollywood and Vine: Ate here several times, and enjoyed the characters, but I don't know if they still have them.
2. Sci Fi: Cool place, and food was decent.

AK:
1. Rainforest Cafe: Great atmosphere, but not my favorite restaurant food-wise. Not bad, but just decent. You can tell the staff is not WDW trained.

I have eaten at ALMOST every restaurant, so this is not easy!

Magic Kingdom - None would be my first choice - I would take the monorail to Narcoosees (for really nice) or 'Ohana, but if I must:
1. Liberty Tree Tavern
2. Tony's

Hollywood Studios
1. 50's Prime Time Cafe
2. Brown Derby

Animal Kingdom
1. Tusker House
2. Yak & Yeti

Epcot - This one is the hardest!
1. LeCellier
2. Coral Reef
3. Rose & Crown for Illuminations

Resort Loves:
1. Narcoosee's (already mentioned) (Grand Floridian)
2. Beaches and Cream at Beach Club for sundaes
3. Yachtsman Steakhouse (Beach Club)
4. Artist's Point (Wilderness Lodge)
5. Cape May (Beach Club)

Pocahontas

Epcot: LeCellier and Teppen Edo

Hollywood Studios: Mama Melrose

Animal Kingdom: Never had a TS at this park.

Magic Kingdom: Tony's (for lunch)

Besides Epcot choices, my true favorites are at the resorts: 'Ohanas, Artist Point (2TS),Whispering Canyon, and Cape May.
