View Full Version : Pre-trip report: Lexi's Sweet 16

Can't believe that it is finally here. We leave Monday from PHL for 5 days of magical bliss. This is going to be a girls only trip since DH has stated he is Disneyed out. The hardest part to get past is that my baby is turning 16. It wasn't so hard with the other 2 girls. We are staying at POP and it is our first time there so lots of new things to explore. We wanted to stay at BC but with current financial situation we rationalized that we really wouldn't be in the room all that long. My oldest daughter is down there already due to being a cast member so we have the flight down just the 2 of us. We don't really have a structured game plan for the days with the exception of Tuesday which is her actual birthday and for our dinner reservations. We will be dining at Tusker House, Le Cellier, Teppan Edo and Jiko. Lexi's friends keep telling her how jealous they are that she gets to spend her Sweet 16 and actually be a princess. We want to fit a lot of things in but our mantra comes from the princess diaries," we don't run, we may hasten but we don't run." Well have to go start my packing but we will be back soon and I will have to let you in on everything.

OOOO! Have fun! We spent my DD Katies Sweet Sixteen in WDW in April. We turned her into a princess for the day at BBB!
