Is this in Epcot now and how are the lines for it?

Yes, and there is a new show every 17 minutes or so, so you wouldn't likely need to wait more than that.

Anyone know how long Captain EO is going to run? I have always enjoyed Honey I Shrunk The Audience, but I wish they would make a new 3D for EPCOT. I saw Captain EO years ago and have no desire to see it again.

Indefinite, but limited, run. I saw it today for the first time since 1987 (in 3D) and enjoyed it far more than HISTA.

I will probably watch it just as a 80's flashback...I remember liking it when it first came out, it was groundbreaking, but we need something NEW!

DD is in WDW right now and she in SIL saw this last night - she said it was hard to find tucked back in a corner. There was not a long line. She liked it she said it was like thriller and star wars combined. She had never seen it before and neither have I.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago and thought it was horrible. Captain Eo saves the world with interpretative dance. Whoopee!

Time for a new 3D movie in that spot.

I feel like this thread wants to morph into a discussion “What would you rather see make a comeback, Captain EO or _____. “ I guess I’ll check out EO if it is still there in January. Since we’re talking nostalgia, I’d rather have Magic Journeys make a comeback.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. He was a legend and a great performer. We haven't bothered seeing HISTA for years. We've been over that for a long time now. I would love to see something new and exciting.

I can't watch HISTA (fear of snakes!) and didn't see this or can't remember it from before so I'm hoping to check it out in September/October. Not a huge fan but still like to check out anything different!

I only hope it is still there when we go in Oct. We saw it in '92 and it was gone when we returned. My oldest son was only 2 and my youngest son wasn't born yet. So it will be cool for them to get to see it.
