Big Group Dining

We are soooo... excited, we have all our kids and grandkids coming together at WDW in September.
10 Adults and 7 grandchildren.
When we made reservations for dining they said they could not seat everyone together...hate the thought of splitting our family up at different tables.
Has enyone experianced this and have an suggestions to try and get us seated together?

...we just came back and had 19 !!! We were all seated together at most places, for example the Luau was at an extremely long table, so it was like being seated apart. To get that many people together to where they can all converse is near impossible....we ate at Donald's Safari Breakfast and had two tables, one for the kids and one for "us" the older kids.....it worked out great....same at yak n yeti...etc...they'll keep you together, not on seperate sides of the room......hope this helps......
