According to another post, the buses start running to the parks at 0630 to 0645, so to get from Pop to Poly for an early breakfast at Ohana's , say at 0730, should we take the bus to MK and then hop on the monorail to the Poly?
Would the monorail or the boat be running that early too?

Yes, that's the way to go.
Yes, they will be running.

The buses from Pop Century begin early enough. As the poster above me wrote, you have planned the best route. Take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and transfer to the monorail. Should be easy!

Do mention to the bus driver that you are doing breakfast at the Poly (especially if the bus is empty). There is always a small chance the driver can get permission to drop you directly at the resort.

That's a good point I forgot to make. There are no guarantees, but I have read numerous reports in which the bus driver stopped at one of the Magic Kingdom resorts after dropping everybody else off at the park.

Thanks that is a great idea! We will try that!:mickey:

Why take the chance of being late? Take a cab. From Pop to Poly will be 10-15 bucks and will be much faster than the above suggestions (although they will all get you there) Our rule of thumb when in Disney is (if you need to use 2 forms of Disney transportation to get you somewhere, take a cab instead) this can save you 30-60 minutes in travel time.

:ditto:

A few trips back while having dinner at the Yact Club we decided we were not going to hoof it back to DHS or Epcot in order to get a bus back to our resort. I was 5 months pregnant with #4 and traveling with 3 children. We went to the front and the valet called us a cab. Minutes later the cab arrived, we piled in, and off we went. For less than $20 (including tip) we were back "home". Ever since then we take cabs to and from resort dining when we are tired or pressed for time. Instead of panicing when the bus takes forever to come (because you just missed the last one) and then the same thing happens at the monerail station (you run up the ramp just as the monerail pulls out of the station) grab a cab, sit back and enjoy the ride. No worries. :cloud9:
