When does it get dark in Deecember?

Hi all! I'm planning my family's first trip for December 5-12th and want to know when it gets dark that time of year...
Since I'm from WI, it gets dark around 4:30pm, but I have NO idea about FL!! I want to make sure we see all the pretty Christmas lights!

It seems to get dark right around 6pm in December. That is generally the scheduled time for the Castle Lighting event.

We have been there early in December. As the month goes on, it gets darker a bit earlier, but not much.

My memory says 5:30. We've been many times in Dec. We're also going Dec 5-12.

Sometimes it's dark around 5...otherwise it's closer to 6.
